For example, the parametric mode of the grapher allows student to graph 3D vector functions. This grapher is also suited to multivariable calculus. The standalone version of Microsoft Math 3.0 also has support for calculus and Ink Handwriting, allowing the user to write out problems by hand and have them recognized by Microsoft Math. It also includes a triangle solver, and an equation solver that provides step-by-step solutions to each problem, a feature beneficial to students attempting to learn problem-solving skills. The application features such tools as a graphing calculator and a unit converter. Microsoft Math contains features that are designed to assist in solving mathematics, science, and tech-related problems, as well as to educate the user. Microsoft Math has received 2008 Award of Excellence from Tech & Learning Magazine. A related freeware add-in for Microsoft Word and Microsoft OneNote, called Microsoft Mathematics Add-In for Word and OneNote, is also available from Microsoft that offers comparable functionality (this requires Word 2007 or higher, per the installer).
Developed and maintained by Microsoft, it is primarily targeted at students as a learning tool. The menu bar contains the menus (File, Edit, etc.), and the sketch pad is where geometric objects are drawn.Microsoft Mathematics (formerly Microsoft Math) is an educational program, designed for Microsoft Windows, that allows users to solve math and science problems.

However, all of the tutorials in this series are also compatible with the latest version (version 5).
For now, we will be using this version in our tutorials (I have not bought a new version yet). The Geometer’s Sketchpad (version 4.07) window is shown in the figure below.

On the one hand, it is more difficult to construct geometric objects using GSP compared to other dynamic geometry software but, on the other hand, it can be inferred that because of the lack of tools, it may improve geometric construction knowledge better than many geometry software. It is similar to GeoGebra, but with fewer tools. Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) is a commercial geometry software created my Nicolas Jackiw in the 1980s.
